The UN proclamation of the annual International Migrants Day (December 18) offers a rallying point for everyone across the world who is concerned for migrants. It is an opportunity to recognize the contributions made by millions of migrants to the well-being and economies of their countries.
Compassion for Migrant Children takes this opportunity to highlight the positive contributions that migrants are making in the cities and their society of China, as well as stimulating public goodwill and understanding. We often hear about their challenges, negatives, and needs and we think it would be helpful to also take an assets-based approach in helping others understand migrants’ valuable contributions.
